1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Research Use Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use this site or purchase any materials.

2. Eligibility

You may use this site and purchase materials only if you are a qualified researcher (or are purchasing on behalf of a research laboratory, institution, or business), are at least 21 years of age, and are acquiring materials solely for laboratory research purposes. Eligibility and the Research Use Only acknowledgment are governed by our Research Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

3. Orders and acceptance

All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Pepta. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including for suspected ineligibility, suspected misuse, errors in pricing or product information, or limited availability. An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance; acceptance occurs when the order is shipped.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payment is made in cryptocurrency through a third-party payment provider (such as Coinbase Commerce, BTCPay Server, or Solana Pay). Where no online payment provider is enabled, orders are arranged by email. By paying, you authorize the applicable charge and agree to the selected provider’s terms. Pepta does not collect or store payment card details. We are not responsible for errors caused by your chosen payment provider or wallet.

5. Research Use Only restriction and acceptable use

For Research Use Only — Not for Human Consumption. All materials are sold strictly for laboratory research use and are not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or any in-vivo, clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic application. You agree to use, handle, store, and dispose of all materials lawfully and in accordance with all applicable regulations. You agree not to resell or supply any material for any prohibited use. Full restrictions are set out in our Research Use Policy.

6. No medical claims

Pepta makes no therapeutic, medical, diagnostic, or performance claims for any product. No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or affect any disease, condition, or body process. These products are not approved by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, product documentation, and the site design, is the property of Pepta or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without prior written permission, except as needed for your own internal research reference.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for any limited specification stated on the applicable Certificate of Analysis, all materials and this site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are solely responsible for determining the suitability of any material for your research.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepta and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use or misuse of any material. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pepta, its affiliates, and their personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of any material, your breach of these terms or the Research Use Policy, or your violation of any applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
