For Research Use Only — Not for Human Consumption. This policy explains what that statement means, who is permitted to purchase, and the limits that apply to every product Pepta supplies. It applies to all materials listed in the catalog and to every order placed through this site.

What “For Research Use Only” means

All products are sold strictly For Research Use Only and are not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or any in-vivo application. By purchasing, you confirm you are a qualified researcher acquiring materials for laboratory research only.

All materials are supplied as reference and research chemicals for laboratory use by qualified researchers and institutions. They are sold as the neat compound for in-vitro and analytical work only. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, or medical devices, and they are not packaged, labeled, or intended for any of those purposes.

Prohibited uses

By purchasing, you agree that the materials will not be used for, and will not be resold or supplied for, any of the following:

Pepta makes no therapeutic, medical, or performance claims of any kind for any product. No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or affect any disease, condition, or body process.

Buyer eligibility

Materials are offered only to buyers who meet all of the following criteria. By placing an order you represent and warrant that you qualify:

• You are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, institution, or business engaged in research.
• You are at least 21 years of age.
• You are acquiring the materials solely for legitimate laboratory research purposes.
• You have the training, facilities, and authority to handle research chemicals safely and lawfully.

An acknowledgment of these terms is captured on your first visit to this site. Placing an order reaffirms that acknowledgment for every purchase.

Proper context of use
